FAQs

  • Burn candles away from drafts/windows/fans to prevent dripping and ensure an even burn.

Pillars: Trim wicks to 1/2” before each lighting. Ensure pillars are level to mitigate melting over the candle rim.

Tapers: Trim wicks to 1/4" before lighting. Ensure tapers are straight and securely positioned in holders. The base of our tapers are a standard size at 7/8". Tapers may need additional packing (tack or Sticky Wax) to keep in place depending on candle holder size.

Floaters: Trim wicks to 1/2" before lighting. Ensure the wick does not get wet prior to lighting.

Votives: Trim the wick to 1/4" before each use. Votive candles liquefy as they burn, so always use a snug-fitting container to avoid a wax puddle.

  • Our hope is that you re-use our candles either at future events or in your home! If you’re looking for a more sustainable option, check out our Wax Return Program, where we incorporate recycled wax into new candles to reduce waste and keep the glow going.

  • Our candles are designed for a clean, slow burn, to last the length of an event and beyond. Trim taper wicks to ¼ inch, pillar wicks to 1/2 inch and avoid drafts to extend burn time and ensure an even glow.

  • Due to the handmade nature of your candles, there may be subtle variation in dye lots.

  • Sustainability is at the heart of what we do, and our Wax Return Program is one way we keep our mission burning bright. We invite our local Denver community to drop off their pre-loved, melted Chandlerie candles at our studio, where we carefully re-melt and repurpose the wax into new creations.

Every batch of our candles contains a percentage of reclaimed wax, helping to reduce waste and keep more wax out of landfills—because every little effort counts.

  • We love supporting our incredibly talented clients! Due to a high demand of collaboration requests we limit our collaborations to scheduled publication, workshops, and product crossover. Please reach out on our Contact Page if you would like to inquire about collaborating.
